Aileen Kapp passed away of natural causes surrounded by her six granddaughters and family by her side. Aileen was born and raised in Oakland, CA. She attended Oakland Tech High School and worked at Kaiser Industries as a graphic artist. She lived in Pleasanton for the past 49 years. Aileen was an avid artist and enjoyed volunteering at the Pleasanton Senior Center where she taught watercolor classes in her later years. Aileen's claim to fame was being called "Nonnee," a nickname given by her six granddaughters. Aileen never complained a day in her life and will be remembered by her gentle, kind heart. Aileen is survived by Michael Kapp (Lise), Diane Lund (Jess), Ross Kapp (Sheri), and granddaughters Ally Haviland, Melissa Lund, Katrina Lund, Julia Lund, Emilie Kapp, and Rachael Kapp, and 2 great-grandchildren. Per Aileen's request, there will be no services held. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hope Hospice or a charity of your choice in Aileen's name.
