Bertha Alicia Martin died Aug. 28, 2016 at Kaiser Hospital in Walnut Creek , CA. She was born Bertha Alicia Llamas in Tecolotlan, Jalisco, Mexico to Rosario Llamas. Bertha is survived by her husband of 43 years, Rene Martin her daughter (Ana) Daisy Loa and son in law Eddie Loa, her son Rene "Tito" Martin and his children Austin and Natalee Martin, her sister Maria S. "Sally" Gomez and her niece Adrianna Villamar, all of Pleasanton. Bertha was a devoted wife and mother and loyal friend who enjoyed singing and gardening. Her sense of humor and excellent cooking will be missed by all who knew her. A funeral mass will be held on Sept. 17, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Pleasanton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony Foundation at www.stanthonysf.org
