Beverly Jayne Burdick passed away in 2026 at the age of 93, leaving behind a loving family and a lifetime of cherished memories.

Beverly was born on August 19, 1932, to Carl H. and Helen Burnett Seely. She grew up as one of four children alongside her sister, Patricia “Patsy” Richardson, and her brothers, Daniel and Jerry Seely.

Beverly married Eugene Vernon Burdick with whom she shared a long life and raised four children: William, Robert, Eugene and Helen Jayne. Over the years, Beverly and Eugene made their home in several places including Colorado, Hawaii, Arizona, and California.

Beverly was smart, sassy, and determined, with a fantastic memory that stayed with her throughout her life. She was an avid reader and especially loved science fiction and history. She enjoyed watching the History Channel, traveling to new places, and had a particular fondness for anything that sparkled.

During the last decade of her life Beverly returned to California where she lived with her daughter Helen and spent time near her granddaughters Jessica and Brittney. Those years gave her the opportunity to be surrounded by family and to remain an important part of their everyday lives.

Beverly was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her sharp mind, strong personality, and the unmistakable sparkle she brought to everyone’s lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Helen Seely; her husband Eugene and her son Robert Burdick. Her brother Daniel Seely passed away a few months after her. She is survived by her children William Burdick, Eugene Burdick and Helen Jayne Burrows; her sister Patsy Richardson; her brother Jerry Seely; and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.

Her family intends to lay her to rest in Meeker, Colorado on what would have been her 95th birthday, surrounded by the family and community to which she remained deeply connected.
