Gina Gangi (Helen Jean Dalba), age 80, entered peacefully into rest at The Parkview in Pleasanton, CA surrounded by loved ones on December 13, 2017 after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Born June 4, 1937 to Russell and Jane Dalba in Rochester, New York. She married Demetrio Donald Errigo and had three children, Jennifer (Jean Marie), Salvator Donald, and Russell Christopher. Later relocating to California in 1972, where she lived the remainder of her life.

She is survived by her Aunt Hellen Pizzo, sister Joyce Purpura, brother Russell Dalba II, her children, granddaughter Cylvia Ann Vier, Gianna Errigo, Jenna Ingraham, grandsons Brian Arebalo, Joshua Arebalo, Roman Salvatore Errigo, Dominic Joseph Errigo and great granddaughter Gloria Jean Vier, in addition to many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Gina was an interior designer and later in life a nanny. She was a loving mother and grandmother, an amazing cook and baker with a wonderful sense of humor. With two profoundly deaf children, she was a trial-blazer in advocating for early speech therapy for deaf children to better prepare them to thrive in a hearing world.

She touched the hearts of many and is now home with the lord.
