Celebration of Life

It is with great sadness that the family of Ginanne M. Thrailkill announces her passing. Ginanne was a loving wife and mother of three sons. She passed away peacefully in Sea Bright, NJ, surrounded by her family. Ginanne was born in St. Albans, New York, to William and Virginia Stoehr and grew up with her sister, Becky. She attended elementary and high school in Maplewood, New Jersey. After completing two years of college at Muhlenberg College, she moved to California.

Upon arriving in California in October 1986, Ginanne worked as an office administrator and manager before returning to school to earn her teaching credentials. She then taught preschool at St. Claire's for several years. After retiring she spent countless hours cooking her favorite meals, gardening, reading, crafting, and providing guidance and direction to all who needed it. Ginanne was a generous woman who cherished time with family and friends. Her children and family were her pride and joy. Ginanne’s sense of humor, quick wit, inquisitive mind, and kindness will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Ginanne is survived by her husband, Mark; their three children, Kevin, Jordan, and Grant; her parents and sister; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Join us for a celebration of life and a gathering will be held on, Saturday, June 14, 2025 - 2PM at Saint Clare‘s Episcopal Church 3350 Hopyard Rd., Pleasanton CA 94588. All are welcome.
