John Joseph “Jack” Parker, age 87, born July 13, 1938, to John and Pauline Parker, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. He was the beloved husband of 66 years to his high school sweetheart, Keville Parker, and the devoted father of David Parker (spouse Shelley Parker). Jack was preceded in death by his son Stephen Parker and by Steve’s spouse, Debra Parker, as well as by his siblings Marianne Parker Martinelli and Patrick James Parker. He is survived by his sister Kathaleen Parker O’Kane.
Jack was a proud grandfather to Jennifer Parker (spouse Andre Jarrahzadeh), Thomas Parker (spouse Marlee Parker), Megan Parker Van Burkleo (spouse Cameron Van Burkleo), and Sarah Parker. He was also the cherished great-grandfather of Callen, Ariya, Penelope, Juniper, and Briar.
A graduate of Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, California, Jack briefly served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1957 before beginning a long and successful career as a business owner in the print industry until his retirement. He was an active member of both the Pleasanton North Rotary and the Sons In Retirement (SIRS), where he built lifelong friendships and gave generously of his time and good humor.
Jack will be remembered as a true gentleman—kind, thoughtful, and steadfast—a good friend to many and a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 noon on December 12, 2025, at Graham-Hitch Mortuary in Pleasanton, followed by a gathering of friends and family at Beeb’s Sports Bar & Grill in Livermore.
