Kathleen Benassini, loving mother and grandmother. passed at her home in San Ramon, CA on January 27, 2022. Kathleen was born to Wiliam and Mary Linthicum on June 15, 1942 in Baltimore, MD.

Kathleen moved to CA in 1959 and graduated from Castro Valley HS in 1960. After graduating from high school she started working at Brockway, then onto The Nevada Club, Anchor Hocking, Parker-Hannifer, Payless, Latchford and finishing her career at Neo-Tech Spring Corp. with her husband Paul.

On December 28, 1981 Kathleen married the love of her life Paul Benassini. They spent 40 loving years together rarely being apart. Together they enjoyed working with each other, traveling on cruises, bowling, going to Reno and spending time with their 5 children and 13 grandchildren. Hosting holidays was a highlight in their home and will always be cherished.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents Mary Lade, William Linthicum, brother Dale Linthicum and soul mate husband Paul Benassini.

She is survived by her daughter Cassandra Martinez, step-children Paul Benassini, Natalie Garrett, Rebecca Benassini-Lyons and Monica Stockham and 13 grandchildren Aubrey, Ashley, Sara, Tyler, Brooke, Nichole, Nicholas, Cora, Katie, Gia, Alex, Luke and Canyon and her sister-in-law Robin Linthicum.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at St. Isidore’s Catholic Church, 440 La Gonda Way, Danville, CA followed by a Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to The Salvation Army.
