Peter Wong, 64, of Pleasanton, California, passed away peacefully September 18, 2012, at Stanford University Medical Center. He was surrounded by family and friends.

He was born September 13, 1948, in Taishan, China. He immigrated to New York City when he was 18 years old, moving to California in 1980. He has been living in Pleasanton since 1988. He worked as a communication technician for over 40 years with AT & T. He retired in 2009. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Linh Wong of Chalfont, PA; daughter, Christine Wong of San Jose, CA; grandchildren, Emma and Grant Wong of Chalfont, PA. A memorial service, burial and celebration of his life was held September 25, 2012, at Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto.

He will always be in our hearts and minds forever. He was the kindest and most compassionate soul. A beloved father and best friend, he was the greatest person we know. Dad, till we are able to hold you again, enjoy the fishing up there, we hear it's great!
