Robert Emmor Stanley
Feb. 4, 1946-Feb. 13, 2025
Manteca, California

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Emmor Stanley, known to all as Bob, who passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025, at the age of 79. Bob was born on February 4, 1946, in Vallejo, California, and lived a full and remarkable life that left a lasting impact on his family, friends, and community.

Bob was a longtime resident of Pleasanton, California, where he became known for his love of Christmas and his passion for holiday decorations. Each year, his home was transformed into a holiday wonderland, bringing joy to those around him. His devotion to spreading holiday cheer went beyond his own home—Bob was a beloved Santa to many, bringing smiles and laughter to children and families across the region.

A hardworking and dedicated businessman, Bob spent most of his life as a business owner, where his commitment, drive, and integrity earned him the respect of his colleagues and customers. Outside of work, Bob was an avid fisherman, finding peace and joy in the quiet of nature, and a passionate traveler who relished exploring new places and creating memories with those he loved.

Bob's family was the center of his world. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Catherine, who was his partner in life and his greatest support. He is also survived by his two sons, Michael Stanley and Robert Todd Stanley, and his daughter-in-law, Lisa, and his beloved granddaughter, Hannah. Bob was also deeply loved by his siblings—Martha Stanley, Roy Stanley and his wife Lendel, and Ruth Stanley. He will be forever cherished by his nieces, nephews, and their children, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Bob's warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be deeply missed. His joyful spirit, his laughter, and his kindness will live on in the memories of all who knew him. Bob’s legacy of love, kindness, and holiday cheer will forever remain in our hearts.

A private Celebration of Life in honor of Bob will be held to share stories, laughter, and love in remembrance of a life well-lived.
