With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our father, Silvestre Liclican, who left us on September 5, 2025 at the age of 64.

Born on October 10, 1961 in The Philippines, Silvestre lived a life defined not by the challenges he faced, but by the love, generosity, and loyalty he gave so freely to those around him. Though he lived with a disability that brought daily struggles, he met each obstacle with strength and dignity, never allowing it to dim his spirit or his commitment to his family.

Silvestre was a man of generosity—always ready to lend a hand, offer a kind word, or share what he had with others. His loyalty was steadfast; if you were fortunate enough to call him a friend, you knew you had a companion for life. Above all, he was a loving father who placed his family at the center of everything he did. His greatest joy came from watching his children and grandchildren grow, celebrating their achievements, and being present through every milestone, big or small.

He leaves behind his children: Michelle Liclican, Samantha Liclican, Joseph Liclican.

Grandchildren: Taylor Brissenden, Marcus Barragan, Kylana Rivera and Kaleia Nolan.

Siblings: Louida Carlson, Mary Ann Livingston, John Liclican Jr., John Liclican, Aldo Liclican.

Though we will miss him deeply, we find comfort in knowing his love will continue to guide us, and his memory will forever live in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held on October 10, 2025, from 1pm-4pm at Graham-Hitch Mortuary, 4167 First Street, Pleasanton, CA 94566
