Donna Redgrave, a 40 year resident of Pleasanton, passed away on October 16, 2020 with her family right by her side. She had been battling kidney disease for over 6 years. Prior to moving to Pleasanton, she was a resident of Oakland, CA where her family grew up and went to school. It's also where she met her late husband Douglas Redgrave. Donna and Douglas were married in 1973. They made their way to Pleasanton in 1980. Donna was a 30 year employee of Wells Fargo Bank, mother of 4: Darrellyn, Jason, Brian and Kelly Redgrave, grandmother of 3: James Childers, Josh and Kaylie Oliver and lucky enough to enjoy her great grand-daughter Rosie for 5 years. She always played an active role in her kids life whether it was room mother, talent show coordinator, brownie troop leader or retiring from her career at Wells Fargo Bank to be a grandma. Family was always first and what made her happy. Putting a baby in her arms always brought a smile to her face. She was a natural mom.

Donna was the sweetest person. A kind and patient soul that would welcome you to her home. Always decorative and festive for any holiday. The more she could gather around her table for food and conversation the better. And boy, could she cook! Some of the fondest of memories were not only family but friends (adults and kids) gathered around the table eating her meal she prepped and being together. Donna will be placed with her husband Douglas at Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland, CA. Her loving and peaceful spirit will carry on in her children and and grandchildren.
