Brentwood, CA

George Habib Ayad, 66, resident of Brentwood, CA, passed away on May 19th, 2022, with his wife and family by his side. He was born to Asal Ayad and the late Habib Ayad on Feb. 29th, 1956, in Palestine. George is survived by his eight children: Ryan Rodriguez, Jenniffer Ortiz-Alizieri, Ricky Rodriguez, Vanessa Lammers, Nicolas Ayad, Isabelle Ayad, Emalee Ayad and Kayla Ayad. George was a loving grandfather to six beautiful grandchildren.

George spent his early years in Palestine mastering the art of jewelry making, and when he came to the United States in 1980, he continued to build his craft into a successful 38-year family business, Kasaria Jewelers, now located in Pleasanton, CA. George found joy in creating one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry for many and more often than not, customers turned into dear, lifelong friends.

George enjoyed spending time with his family along the beautiful Northern California Coast as well as breathing in the fresh mountain air at the family cabin. George loved his adventurous travels all over the world to find unique gems for his special customers. George cherished spending downtime in his orchard and beautiful garden in the mountains always sharing with family and friends.

We already miss him and know that this loss is deeply felt by many. Whether it’s a cherished memory or a special piece of jewelry crafted by George, we find comfort in knowing that a piece of him will live on through so many.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Please join us to celebrate the life of George.
