Lasting Memories

Gloria June Cameron
March 11, 1946-Nov. 14, 2017
Soledad, CA

Gloria J. Cameron, 71 of Soledad, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed and our family gatherings will never be the same without her sense of humor. Gloria was born on March 11, 1946 in Pontiac Michigan to Albert Clarence Clarno and Frances Mariah Duncan. She was the only girl out of four boys and loved her brothers dearly. After graduating from Emmanuel Christian School, she moved to California. She met and married the love of her life, and they settled in San Ramon, California. When her children were growing up, she was very much involved with their youth group, with Church of the Valley, and working at Hope Hospice. She enjoyed disco music, entertaining people with her singing and playing the piano, reading a good book, and visiting San Francisco. She felt peace walking along the beach and looking out at the waves. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family, friends, and pugs. Preceding her in death was her loving husband, Raymond L. Cameron, parents, brothers Dale Clarno, Bill Clarno, Jack Clarno and sister Barbara Clarno. She is survived by her brother, Michael Clarno and wife Beth of Clovis CA, daughter, Shawn F. Lane, of St. Cloud FL, son Jason J. Cameron and wife Julie of Lakeland TN, son Marcus A. Cameron and wife Stacy of Dublin CA, son Scott B. Cameron and fiancée Alisha of Soledad CA; ten grandchildren.
