Phyllis was an elementary school teacher for the Pleasanton Unified School District from 1970-1993. While she taught at Vintage Hills, she was affectionately known to her students as Mz Lynn or simply Mz. She loved traveling and was a passionate Oakland A's and Raiders fan, with season tickets to both teams, when the Oakland Coliseum was still small. Along with her daughter, Ruthie and son, David, she is survived by her grandkids: Jack, Sean, Cailin, Tom, Ryan and Tommy II.
