I was very saddened to learn of Doe's passing , I remember her and Ed from way back when they ran the store in Livermore on L St. they were the kindest most generous people around, it is a real loss to lose such a nice lady, my prayers and best wishes to the Family!!!

"Come on in" - that's the first thing I think of whenever I remember Doe. I was always welcome, even if Jeff wasn't there when I stopped by. I was welcomed into their home across from the fairgrounds in 7th grade and Jeff and I were always close until his passing. She set the tone for the kindness Jeff, Janell and Jennifer always showed to others. I cherish those days and thanks to the Alves for all the great memories in P-town.
