Whenever we would enter the room, Tom would make us feel so welcome. He was always curious to find out how we and our family were faring. I have to admit, some of his jokes drew a groan more than a laugh, but that is what made him special and dear to our hearts. His generosity, compassion for all, and outward displays of love set an example for us all.
